A Playful Parody of Du Fu's 'Madman'

释文：

安順橋頭一草堂，
At the head of the bridge in Anshun is the thatched cottage,

錦水聽濤即滄浪。
listening to the bright water turning into deep billowing waves

卌載蓉城讀書靜，
For forty years in Chengdu reading and studying in quiet contemplation

卅年燕山揮毫忙。
thirty years across the Yan mountains busilly wielding the brush

既刪春秋葦編絕，
Tirelessly editing and compiling his own Spring and Autumn Annals

又失老妻色淒涼。
while losing his wife with mournful countenance.

欲罷蝶夢惟疏放，
Longing to cease this butterfly dream he is wholly unrestrained

自嘲泥龜老更狂。
laughing at himself this old muddy turtle gets more eccentric with age.
