【展讯】“大我妙墨”艺术展12月8日在中国世纪坛展出

艺术简历

     张大我一九四三年生于陕西城固。幼承家学，在中国传统文化氛围中成长。五十年代曾随家父张万里先生在四川、天津、北京及江浙一带生活。六、七十年代先后在北京、天津、东北等地求学、教书。八十年代在北京工作。八七年秋，以职业艺术家身份进入社会。九二年赴澳大利亚举办《大我现代书画艺术巡回展》。九四年至今，旅居澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚。现任澳大利亚东西方文字造型艺术委员会副主任。澳大利亚黑色艺术中心主任。八十年代初开始探索书法、水墨的抽象，迄今近二十年。初步形成《大我妙墨》艺术体系雏型。并在多维空间及当代装置艺术中融入“大我妙墨”的思考。此外，在“观念摄影”和“踪迹艺术”中亦有探索性作品展示。“大我妙墨”作品，先后被伦敦大英博物馆、澳大利亚维多利亚女皇博物馆等多家艺术机构及私人收藏家收藏。

      Born 1943, Beijing/Australian calligrapher and visual artist, known for many facets of art including photography. Deeply rooted in the ancient culture of Jin-Shi(artistic etching and engraving of symbols and writing on metal and stone, from 4000 BC). Immersed for 40 years in traditional forms, since1982 he has stepped into modern calligraphy, and since 1990, modern art. (Dawo Miamo: ‘a form of unique Eastern abstract art’.) Represented in many national and international collections, notably those of the British Museum and Rupert Murdoch.
