剑桥诗歌艺术节作品北岛的玫瑰与陶渊明、杜甫的菊花—简评北岛的《时间的玫瑰》

有诗评家从北岛的玫瑰想到十九世纪美国女诗人荻金森的玫瑰，玫瑰是美国的国花。中国的国花是牡丹和梅花，写牡丹写得好的是李白的“月想衣裳花想容，春风拂欄露华浓”，写梅花写得好的是陆放翁“零落成泥碾作尘，只有香如故”，学陆放翁学得好的是毛泽东的“她在丛中笑”。而我为什么不把北岛的玫瑰这个美国的国花联想到中国的国花牡丹与梅花呢？因为我有我的局限：一，我不懂荻金森赋与玫瑰的全部含义，二，北岛在美国，他看不见牡丹与梅花，所以我有理由琢磨他写玫瑰的意境。
而此刻，我从北岛的玫瑰联想到的却是中国的菊花！中国写菊花写得好的一个是陶渊明《饮酒》中的“釆菊东篱下，悠然见南山”，另一个是杜工部《秋兴八首》中的“丛菊两开他日泪，孤舟一系故园心”。“悠然”是时间，“他日”也是时间；“采菊”是放逐， ”孤舟”也是放逐。前者是自我放逐，后者的被迫放逐。
北岛的《时间的玫瑰》不期然与陶、杜一样，也是时间中的玫瑰，是放逐和自我放逐的时间中的玫瑰，是放逐和自我放逐的时间中可见的美丽的玫瑰和不可见的美丽的梦境的玫瑰！
杜甫云：“乾坤天地眼，时序百年心！”这个“天地”就是世界，包括东方和西方的一体的美丽的世界，这个“百年”便是令人留恋的人生，包括东方和西方的一体的诗人之心。对于十多年前生活在美国的北岛，诗评家们以荻金森的玫瑰来联想北岛的诗是对的，而我以十多年前也许见不到菊花的北岛用陶、杜的菊花来联想他的诗也不太牵强吧？何况“诗无达诂”，故国故土的中国诗人嘛，哈哈！

当守门人沉睡
你和风暴一起转身
拥抱中老去的是
时间的玫瑰
当鸟路界定天空
你回望那落日
消失中呈现的是
时间的玫瑰
当刀在水中折弯
你踏笛声过桥
密谋中哭喊的是
时间的玫瑰
当笔画出地平线
你被东方之锣惊醒
回声中开放的是
时间的玫瑰
镜中永远是此刻
此刻通向重生之门
那门开向大海
时间的玫瑰
